Established in 2010 by Jim Postell, Studio 161 is a design-centered practice located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our practice seeks client and industry relationships and offers design solutions for a variety of project types. We have completed projects in furniture design, interior design, and architecture and have worked on hospitality, institutional, liturgical, residential, and workplace environments. We consider issues of making and current building practices early in the design process and balance design aesthetics, material research, fabrication methods, and programmatic needs into integrated design solutions.
Because of our long-standing connection to the School of Architecture and Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati, Studio 161 invites opportunities to integrate teaching and research activities within our current projects.
